I go by Dayak Wanderer because, much like the Dayak Iban men of Borneo, I embody the spirit of “bejalai.” This isn’t just a word; it’s a profound concept. It is a journey or expedition undertaken with the intent of acquiring knowledge and experience. It may also bring material gain and social prestige. For me, this “bejalai” urge is a deeply personal quest. It is a desire to seek and find oneself through the expansive tapestry of travel.
